Anyone who believes that they may be eligible to become a resident of one of the Old Trust almshouses and would like to apply for one should either download and complete the Application Form and return it to Fidler Taylor at 11 Church Street, Ashbourne DE61AE or collect and return a hard copy from the same address.
In line with its original objectives the Old Trust endeavours to keep all the almshouses occupied at all times but vacancies do occur from time to time although as you might expect there is generally a waiting list.
None of the properties owned by the Old Trust are warden controlled nor do we provide care for residents. The properties are suitable for those who are able to live independently, apart from Coopers Gardens no’s 6A & 6B which were built to accommodate residents with carers.
When a completed Application Form is received by the Old Trust receipt of the form will be duly acknowledged and the applicant informed accordingly.
